LIQUI-MOLY once again made a high profile appearance at Automechanika Frankfurt with a large stand at the entrance to Hall 9.1. After a break of four years for the in-person event, the company was keen to show visitors its wide and fast developing product portfolio, with a special emphasis on some of the more recent product and service innovations. 

Reducing vehicle operating costs has come sharply into focus in recent months and LIQUI-MOLY experts were on hand to explain how its comprehensive range of additives, can not only reduce fuel consumption, but also extend the life of the vehicle and make it more reliable. 

Showing that it is also at the cutting edge of vehicle development LIQUI-MOLY also had on display its latest E-mobility products, a gear oil for Tesla vehicles and a new fuel cell coolant.  

The Fuel Cell Coolant FCF 20 is based on ethylene glycol, combined with non-ionic additives. It exhibits very low electrical conductivity and combines optimum thermal dissipation with outstanding material compatibility and aging stability. Currently use for such a product is quite niche, largely limited to the Toyota Mirai. However, as fuel cell technology develops, such products will take on increasing importance. 

Making the point that electric vehicles actually need very high quality lubrication, LIQUI-MOLY also had on display its new Top Tec Gear EV 510 oil which meets the strict manufacturer requirements of Tesla. The designation EV shows that this LIQUI MOLY product was developed exclusively for electric vehicles.  

With maintaining vehicle value also becoming more important, the LIQUI-MOLY vehicle care range was also under the spotlight. This is one of the most comprehensive on the market with innovative care and protection products for paint, chrome, glass, rubber, rims, tyres, soft tops, plastic, engine, leather and interior. 

Providing garages with new business opportunities was also a key theme on the stand, with the latest Gear Tronic III, Automatic transmission flushing unit being one major points of interest, along with the JetClean Tronic II, Fuel and intake system cleaning system.
