To mark the 150th Anniversary of the Declaration of Italian Unity, the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI), is organising the Italian Tricolour Classic Car Rally from 20th - 24th September 2011.

In a great show of Italian unity, three groups of classic car collectors will leave from three historic cities: Turin, Verona and Marsala. 50 green cars will leave from Verona, 50 white cars will leave from Turin and 50 red cars will leave from Marsala

The 150 tricolored cars coming from Italy and Europe, will follow different routes and finally arrive in Teano, near Caserta, north of Neaples where, in 1860, Garibaldi gave to Vittorio Emanuele II the lands of Southern Italy, greeting him as the first King of Italy.
