The new product is a specially formulated Running In Oil. This is a low detergent, non-friction modified oil developed to promote the bedding in of newly machined mated surfaces in re-built engines. It benefits from a high quality additives package which can overcome bore glazing thus allowing accurate seating of the piston rings and valves. It can be used for up to 1000 miles of normal road use.
