JLM is introducing a significantly improved additive for diesel particulate filters. DPF Refill Fluid is a universal alternative to many manufacturer fluids, providing a convenient solution for both stockists and independent garages.
To ensure proper regeneration of collected soot particles, some cars are equipped with an on-board Fuel Borne Catalyst (FBC) dosing system. This dosing system has a tank, or bag-type reservoir, which should be topped-up during the service life of this car.
JLM Diesel DPF Refill Fluid has been developed and engineered as an aftermarket alternative which is suitable for use in numerous post 2000 models. These fluids feature in diesel models from manufacturers such as Peugeot, Citroen, Ford, Volvo, Fiat, Lancia, Mazda, Volkswagen, Skoda and Mini. This aftermarket Fuel Borne Catalyst (FBC) additive is suitable for all currently known, original part numbers for the manufacturers concerned, including, PSA Particulate Fluid 973665, 997995, 973685,973686, C973685, C973686; Eolys DPX 42, DPX 176; Ford Particulate Fluid 1337646, Powerflex and Satacen 25.
The new product, officially launched and Automechanika, is available in 1 litre packaging. When combined with the JLM DPF Refill Kit, cars that are equipped with an additives tank, as well as those with a reservoir bag, can be topped-up easily. In the latter case there is no need to replace the bag.
Gilbert Groot, CEO of JLM Lubricants B.V commented, “Keeping the development and production entirely under our own management means we can keep tighter control of, for instance, the quality of the packaging. In addition, we can also tailor the price to the market demand.”
