ŠKODA’s has named its new SUV and it will be called the ŠKODA KAMIQ.

A third crossover SUV from the brand marks the next step in the Czech manufacturer’s SUV campaign. Following on from the 7-seat KODIAQ and compact KAROQ, the KAMIQ is positioned as an urban crossover and will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

The word KAMIQ comes from the language of the Inuit people living in northern Canada and Greenland and describes something that fits as perfectly as a second skin in every situation.

The name fits perfectly with the existing SUV model range as all ŠKODA SUV models will start with a K and end with a Q. With the new ŠKODA KAMIQ, the brand is taking the next step in its SUV campaign and is expanding its offering with a compact and lifestyle oriented entry SUV model.

The world premiere of the new ŠKODA KAMIQ takes place at the Geneva Motor Show between 5th and 17th March 2019.
