Kia Motors Ireland has announced a partnership with Barcelona based Wallbox, specialists in charging solutions for electric vehicles.

Kia Ireland will roll out Wallbox 22kw fast chargers across its dealer network with installation being carried out by Car Chargers.ie.

The partnership also offers Kia customers the opportunity to purchase their home wallbox charger and arrange installation via their local Kia dealership.

Kia say that the Wallbox chargers will provide a full battery charge in 2.5 hours, making the choice of purchasing a Plug-In Hybrid or fully electric vehicle easier for customers.
