German oil and additive specialist LIQUI MOLY will be showcasing two new appliances for cleaning the engine and changing the oil in automatic models at Automechanika Birmingham. These new equipment items can open up significant new business opportunities for garages as well as saving time and boosting customer satisfaction.
JetClean Tronic II is a cleaning system that tackles deposits inside the engine. It is connected to the injection or intake system and pumps cleaning additives into the engine on a computer-controlled basis. Such a concentrated application ensures particularly effective cleaning. Without incrustations and deposits to disrupt fuel injection, the engine can run smoothly again, regaining its original performance and economy, as well as ensuring the vehicle can pass emissions tests.
The second piece of equipment is the Gear Tronic II. This enables an oil change to be carried out quickly and easily on a car with automatic transmission. Normally this is a complex procedure, but the Gear Tronic II makes it quicker and easier. The sensitive process of simultaneous emptying and filling is taken care of automatically, and additives can easily be incorporated in the oil change. The device even shows which gearbox oil the vehicle needs. The predecessor model was put on the market by LIQUI MOLY in 2015 and quickly became a best-seller as it allowed garages to extend their range services by including the lucrative oil change for automatic models. The latest version is set to be even more popular.
