Radu Suciu has joined MAHLE Aftermarket as its new operations manager, taking over from Bjoern Hornung, who is returning to MAHLE Germany from where he was originally based.

Radu, has moved across from sister company MAHLE Filter Systems UK Ltd, which he joined in 2012 from Marquardt, another tier 1 supplier based in Romania, where he held a number of positions within the production planning department.

Commenting on the appointment, MAHLE Aftermarket’s UK managing director, Jonathan Walker said, ”Radu comes to the aftermarket division with a great track record having demonstrated his considerable product planning knowledge and ability for MAHLE Filter Systems”. He added, “There is no question that his knowledge and skillset will also be a major benefit to us and will have a direct benefit to our customers as we strive to ensure they get the high quality parts they need when they need them. We are therefore very excited to welcome him to the aftermarket team.”

Radu commented, “I‘ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at MAHLE Filter Systems, so it’s great to have this new opportunity while still remaining within the MAHLE Group of companies. The aftermarket obviously presents different challenges, but I look forward to working alongside a new team to meet these challenges and help to grow the business.”
