MANNOL has introduced a significant addition to its popular additive range with the launch of its 9201 Catalytic System Cleaner.

The product forms part of the MANNOL Professional OEM series and is formulated to remove typical contamination and deposits in the combustion system. It cleans valves, piston rings, the exhaust system and the catalytic converter by eliminating carbon residues and scale, which ensures reliable operation and improved performance. The advanced additive also restores optimal exhaust gases purification and decreases fuel consumption. All of this prolongs the service life of both the catalytic converter and the combustion system.

The product is quick and easy to use. The technician simply connects the infusion device with the can and inserts the infusion needle into the engine rubber air intake vacuum tube. The can is then hung upside down to start the cleaning process. During this the engine runs under stationary conditions at 1,500 rpm for around 30-45 minutes.

Once complete the car will run smoother, cleaner and more economically. The process offers garages and their customers a low cost alternative to expensive catalytic converter replacement. The new Catalytic System Cleaner, 9201, comes in a 500ml pack and is available now from MANNOL additive stockists.
