McLaren Automotive choose AkzoNobel

McLaren Automotive and AkzoNobel have signed a supplier agreement, which will see AkzoNobel provide paint solutions for future McLaren road cars.


Through its Sikkens automotive brand, AkzoNobel has been the official supplier of paint solutions to the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 team since 2008. Since 2011, AkzoNobel has been a Corporate Partner of VMM, and the companies have worked together to develop new paint technology for Formula 1 and other industrial applications.

The new agreement will build on the successful relationship between McLaren and AkzoNobel, and will see AkzoNobel continue to offer outstanding technology-led paint solutions for the rad cars the 12C, the 12C Spider, and the McLaren P1.
