Messe Frankfurt announces ban on exhibitors from Russia and Belarus

Messe Frankfurt, the organisers of Automechanika, the world’s largest and longest established automotive aftermarket trade fair have announced and immediate ban on exhibitors from Russia and Belarus.


In a short statement the company said, “In view of the dramatic situation in Ukraine, Messe Frankfurt has decided not to admit Russian exhibitors as well as exhibitors from Belarus to its trade fairs until further notice. This applies to all countries of the Messe Frankfurt Group that have joined the sanction measures. Furthermore, Messe Frankfurt is also suspending all visitor marketing activities in Russia and Belarus until further notice.”

Messe Frankfurt had already announced a complete suspension of it own events in Russia last week.
