The Frank Keane Group has been appointed as the authorised distributor for MG Motor in Ireland.

This is a super charged return for the iconic MG brand to the Irish market, and the timing could not be better for both parties as MG expands its range of electric and plug-in hybrid cars.

Frank Keane Group is a successful privately owned Irish business with over half a century’s experience in the Irish motor industry and is delighted to have been selected as the partner for MG Motor in Ireland. The MG brand offers electric for all car owners in Ireland with a line-up of high quality and affordable electric and plug-in hybrid cars starting with the MG ZS EV , Ireland’s first truly affordable, family friendly electric car as a Compact SUV.

With five-star Euro NCAP safety, high levels of technology and a seven-year warranty, MG ZS EV is the perfect introduction to electric motoring for new car buyers. Priced from just €28,995, MG ZS EV is a great new option for private, fleet, and corporate customers across the country. The first MG ZS EVs will arrive in Ireland in November for immediate sale, followed by the All New MG5 EV Sportwagon and MG HS Plug-in Hybrid Midsize SUV, both of which will be on sale in the coming months.

Billy Riordan, CEO of the Frank Keane Group, commented: “We are absolutely thrilled to be getting involved with MG as their Irish partner. It is an exciting time for this growing brand which has such a rich history. The Frank Keane Group started its life in motor distribution over 50 years ago and we look forward to this next step in our journey.”
