Michelin Reaches 30 Million in Ballymena

Tyre production at the Michelin plant In Ballymena has passed the 30 million mark, creating another milestone in the history of what is the only tyre production facility of its kind in Ireland.


In operation since 1969, the Ballymena plant produces truck and bus tyres, ninety-five percent of which is exported globally.

Employing over 950 people, the plant has a yearly capacity of 1.4 million tyres as well as being the rubber processing facility for Michelin
