The Mintex MSA British Historic Rally Championship, which kicks off with The Rally Marketing Mid Wales Stages, in Newtown, Powys, this weekend (March 3rd.) has received a further boost with news of comprehensive coverage of all its eight rounds on Motors TV.

MC-Video will film and produce eight one-hour programmes, with a two-hour end of season review. Programme schedules have been posted on the championship’s Facebook page, at www.Facebook.com/BHRC2013. Initial showings dates are:

Round 1 – Mid Wales Stages – Friday 22nd March – 10pm
Round 2 – Rally North Wales – Friday 26th April – 9pm
Round 3 – Pirelli Historic – Friday 24th May – 9pm
Round 4 – Jim Clark Historic – Friday 21st June – 10pm

The coverage means that cars such as Callum Barney’s Ford Cortina Mk1 (pictured) will be seen in action by potentially millions of viewers. This car was originally driven by Callum in the 1960’s and languished in a barn for 40 years before Callum relocated and restored it in 2011.
