Mirka says it’s new ultra-flexible, long lasting hand sanding product is making its debut in September, designed for bodyshop technicians to tackle complex contours and shapes with ease.

The company is confident that Novastar® Flex achieves the perfect balance between cutting and scratch pattern for a great finish and is suitable for a multitude of applications including primer and bumper sanding in hard to reach areas.

Available in a colour coded grit range from 400 - 1500, the flexible abrasive can be used with a soft hand pad to provide stability, avoiding finger indentations and sharp edges.

Steve Smith, national sales manager ART of Mirka says, “Novastar® Flex is the perfect solution for tackling hard to reach areas and contours ensuring a perfect finish every time.”

Novastar® Flex joins the Novastar product family, which also includes Novastar® a ceramic film disc, available in grits 80-600 and Novastar® SR3 and SR5 spot repair discs.
