MKW have announced dates for their Essential Test Procedures course in

March and the Hands-on Structured Fault Finding course in April.

Essential Test Procedures is a 2 day course, taking place on Thursday 14th & Friday 15th March or Friday 15th & Saturday 16th March. The Hands-on Structured Fault Finding course will take place on Saturday 6th April. The courses will be held at MKW Motors, Kingswood Business Park, Dublin 22.

All material for attendees is provided, including tea and coffee, and a Bosch Assessment and Certificate will be issued on successful completion of each course. The course instructor for both courses is Keith Walsh.

The Essential Test Procedures course is divided into linked modules and subject areas, which allow the essential theory and practical skills knowledge to be delivered effectively. The modules and subject areas cover topics such as electrical values and measurement, identification of typical circuit symbols and use of wiring diagrams, test methods for circuit continuity, insulation and resistance and many more.

The Hands-on Structured Fault Finding course is a full day of fault finding on a number of vehicles with known, live faults. During this process, each participant will be monitored and assisted to achieve good structure to their fault finding. They will also be assisted in carrying out and achieving correct testing methods. The Essential Test Procedures course is a prerequisite for this course as it provides the foundation skills necessary for efficient diagnostics.
