Rally fans and competitor all over Ireland and beyond are deeply saddened by the passing of Brian Patterson.

 

Brian along with his wife Liz was steeped in motorsport and over the years provided crews and spectators with the RallyNews bulletins at event all over the country for many years.
 

From the back of their Mercedes Vito they produced and distributed the RallyNews and later produced Patterson Pace Note which proved extremely popular with many competitors. Brian’s contribution to Irish rallying has been enormous and his passing leaves a huge void at every event in the country.
 

Brian who hailed from Glengormely Co. Antrim passed away on August 2 after a brief illness and is survived by his life-long friend and wife Liz, his sons Michael, Chris, Jonathan and Davy, and a wide circle of friends throughout Ireland.
