Alicia O'Connor has been appointed Head of Sales at ŠKODA Ireland and Anthony Treacy has been named as the new Head of Planning.
A native of Dublin, Alicia O'Connor held the role of Head of Planning since joining the company in 2012. Alicia has managed the complete vehicle planning and inventory process and was a key member of the management team that contributed to the strategic direction of the ŠKODA brand in Ireland.
In conjunction with ŠKODA Finance, Alicia was responsible for the successful launch of the PCP finance product that has since underpinned the brands success to date.
Prior to joining ŠKODA Ireland, Alicia worked for three years as an Area Sales Manager for Audi Ireland where she actively managed seven dealerships to support the achievement of Audi's key performance indicators across sales, marketing, customer satisfaction and most importantly profitability; in both new and used cars. Alicia began her career in a Graduate Placement aftersales position in BMW where she progressed to become a Marketing Executive.
Based in ŠKODA Ireland's headquarters in Liffey Valley, Alicia's responsibilities as Head of Sales will include delivering ŠKODA Ireland's sales and market share objectives, while maximising brand customer satisfaction and dealer profitability in order to ensure ŠKODA's ambitions of achieving an 8% market share by 2016.
Anthony Treacy is also a native of Dublin. He formerly held the Financial Controller role for ŠKODA Ireland since 2011 and simultaneously managed the same role for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in 2013. He has been named as the new Head of Planning where he will assume responsibility for key market analysis and trend, ensuring adequate vehicle supply is available to each of the 25 ŠKODA dealers nationwide.
