The new Toyota Avensis will debut at the Paris motor show on October 2. Toyota claims the new Avensis features engines that are both more powerful and emit less CO2, while retaining the high quality, refinement and equipment levels that are an established Avensis hallmark.

This Avensis is the third generation of the model to be built in Derbyshire in the UK. The new model is due to go on sale in January 2009.
