PEUGEOT has launched its new brand with a nod to the past while focusing on the future.

Since 1850, PEUGEOT has been one of the foremost European brands and are now targeting becoming a global player. The lion remains central to the new identity of the French giant as they plan to move upmarket to become a high-end brand in the future. This is the 11th identity change in 210 year and the lion has always been part of that image.

Initially the new image will be rolled out in the brand’s communications material and the website. Around 20 dealerships globally will be revamped straight away, 1,500 dealerships by the end of 2021 while the whole retail network will be renovated by 2023.

The first new model to wear the new brand will be the new PEUGEOT 308 which is due to be launched in Europe in later this year.
