With colder weather on the way, Laser Tools is now offering a Multi-function Jump Starter which can act as an efficient and extremely compact emergency engine starting power pack.
The unit (part number 7405) is surprisingly small, but packs a powerful punch and is packed full of features, including an LED to illuminate the work area, with flashing function for emergencies. It also has two USB outputs (for charging mobile phones, etc), a Type-C input/output port and a digital voltage display on the cable clamp adaptor. The unit and accessories are supplied in a protective case.
The unit is charged from a suitable USB port on a PC, taking approximately three hours to fully charge. As it charges, the power/charging LED display will cycle through the four LEDs. Once fully charged, the LED display shows four indicator lights on.
To jump start a car with a flat battery, the user simply connects up the cable clamp adaptor to the jump starter and connects to the clamps to the car’s battery to start the car.
The Multi-function Jump Starter will start diesel engines up to 3.5 litres and petrol engines up to 4.5 litres. It is currently on offer from your local Laser Tools stockists.
