The ContiTech Power Transmission Group has published a new product application guide featuring the most up-to-date vehicle cross-reference information s at a glance.

ContiTech says the guide will enable workshops to locate the appropriate belts and belt drive components for cars and vans from all renowned vehicle manufacturers even more easily than before. This can be achieved because for the first time ContiTech has brought together all its products in one index, from power transmission belts to kits and on to components such as torsional vibration dampers, overrunning alternator pulleys and screw sets.

The publication also features several layout innovations. The guide uses Continental’s new corporate identity and utilises a clearer index. Product identification can also be made by article number, with product groups quickly identified by means of symbols.

Jens Heitkemper, who is in charge of catalogs for the ContiTech Power Transmission Group, explains, “Not only have we included new vehicles, we have also updated a lot of vehicle cross-references, with the result that the guide contains significantly more information. The design changes enable us to guarantee that our products are clearly organised and rapidly identifiable.”

In addition to the cross-reference list, the guide contains a combined index of sizes with parts lists and images. The ContiTech Power Transmission Group’s entire range of service accessories for the automotive aftermarket is also presented.
