New driveshaft thread chaser
Share:

Also new from Sealey is the VS715 driveshaft thread chaser. When replacing a clutch the gearbox and drive-shafts have to be removed on most vehicles. A common problem that occurs is that the drive-shaft seizes in the hub.

Tapping the end of the drive-shaft thread with a hammer will usually free the drive-shaft, but unfortunately this can cause damage to the thread of the drive-shaft. When reassembling, the damaged threads can strip the threads in the nut.

Sealey’s new tool is designed to repair light damage to CV joint threads, saving garages time and money. The 8-piece set contains sizes to fit the most common types of vehicle.

Also featured in Sealey’s Summer promotion, at the special price of €59.95, it also comes with a free CVJ Boot Installation Tool worth €22.75.

Contact your local dealer or call Sealey’s literature hotline on +441284-757525. or logon to www.sealey.co.uk.
