Electronic automotive components specialists ACtronics have added an important new section to their website called ACtronics Insights. The new online information resource features lots of interesting product and technical information aimed at giving technicians a better understanding of the working of components as well providing solutions to many common issues encountered in the workshop.

As experts in electrical component remanufacture and testing, ACtronics is in a unique position of gathering first hand information on why original components fail and the problems that are contributing to system failures. This means that the team at the company has compiled information from right across Europe and has been able to build a comprehensive database. ACtronics Insights draws on this information base to offer technicians and mechanics inside information to improve their own knowledge base.

The website section can be accessed through the top navigation bar and features easy to follow articles concerning various components, systems and common issues. These articles include illustrations, system diagrams and videos to aid understanding. In many instances the articles also suggest solution to common problems.

New additions to the website section will be made on a regular basis. Current articles on the site include; an explanation of DSG 6 technology, a look at issues arising with ATE MK 60 components, malfunctions on the instrument cluster of the Renault Scenic II, problems with the VDO ECU on the Mercedes-Benz A-Class and issue with the Delphi Delco Multec HSFi-2.x which is featured on many Opel models.
