Refinish paint manufacturer PPG has launched a range of new High Chroma Tinters as an addition to its Envirobase High Performance Waterborne Basecoat offer.

PPG says High Chroma Tinters for Envirobase High Performance basecoat represent a significant breakthrough in waterborne colour capability that allows bodyshops to further optimise the quality of the final repair and achieve an excellent finish.

The five new non-stir tinters cover Green Blue, Yellow, Transoxide Red, Magenta and Organic Red tinter areas and use advanced pigment technology to provide enhanced colour match accuracy for the cleaner brighter colours that are increasingly being favoured by car makers. PPG say this is especially so in matching red and blue metallic and pearl colours.
