DENSO Aftermarket Sales has strengthened its team with the appointment of a new UK & Ireland Manager, Martin Pring.
Martin has over 25 years of experience within the automotive aftermarket having previously held senior roles at NGK and NRF. Martin says he hopes to assist DENSO in further building on its OEM strengths in its successful aftermarket development. He also aims to further strengthen the DENSO sales and technical support team to provide effective customer communication of DENSO’s fast developing product offer.
Martin sees DENSO’s main priority as offering more product ranges to the aftermarket. He says, “Currently DENSO has 42 core OE product lines, including 20 where DENSO is the world number one. We want to be able to reduce lead-times on these products, so that more of these world leading technologies can be incorporated into our aftermarket portfolio quicker. I hope that in the coming years we can continue to build on the success of our existing OE range introductions such as Engine Management Systems, Starters & Alternators and A/C Compressors. All of these products have greatly contributed to the growth of DENSO, particularly as the car parc becomes more technologically advanced.”
Martin says the that diesel products will be a focus of activity in the coming months with plans to offer customers access to a number of replacement diesel components, including Diesel Pumps and Injectors.
