Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG has added new Iveco Daily steering and suspension parts to its MEYLE range to complement its strong product line-up for this popular light commercial vehicle.

The Iveco Daily has been a bestseller ever since it hit the Euorpean market in 1978 and these heavily used vans create a big demand for replacement parts. MEYLE offers a comprehensive range to cater for the Iveco Daily repair needs and also offers a range of MEYLE-HD parts technically superior to their OE equivalents for the repair of particularly wear-prone components.

Suspension components are subject to extremely high operating stresses. In addition to poor road conditions there are typical van-specific factors promoting wear, including heavy loading and continuous operation. Subject to permanent stress, rubber compounds become porous and the rubber-to-metal bond strength decreases, leading to the formation of cracks which as they propagate will eventually cause the part to fail.

To enable workshops to meet all repair requirements with high-quality parts sourced from a single supplier, Wulf Gaertner Autoparts has added new products including stabiliser links and axle beam, stabiliser and leaf spring bearings to complement its product range for Iveco Daily I-IV models. All parts are equivalent in terms of quality to original equipment.

Additionally, Wulf Gaertner Autoparts has developed new solutions for the repair of safety-critical Iveco Daily III and IV components subject to extraordinary load levels. The company's engineers have devised new HD parts designed to outlast their OE counterparts. For example the seat in the ball joint is made from a wear-resistant plastic material and the lubricants employed are extremely resistant to ageing. Thanks to these refinements the parts last considerably longer, thereby increasing customer satisfaction, as the vehicles require fewer workshop visits. Owners of an Iveco Daily also benefit from an extended four-year warranty on HD parts.
