I.M. European Motors Ltd. has announced that Brightstone Trading Limited has taken over the operation of the Citroën & DS dealership at Airside, Swords, Co Dublin.

This development follows the purchase of the site by Avanacar, Limited, a subsidery of Brightstone in July 2016.

The Citroën Dublin dealership was operated by I.M. European Motors Ltd. (IMEM) since October 2015 as part of its takeover of the distribution
business of Citroën & DS Ireland from PSA.

The I.M. Group, as a vehicle distributor, welcomes the takeover of the dealership part of the business by Brightstone Trading Limited. IMEM will continue to operate from the current premises at Airside, Swords, until a suitable alternative property is secured in due course.

Commenting on the announcement, Henry Flanagan, Financial Director, Brightstone Trading Limited, said; "We are delighted to be working with the team at Citroën & DS, at a very exciting time for both brands. We look forward to welcoming customers, both returning and new, to the showroom in Airside.”

Chris Graham, Managing Director, Citroën & DS Ireland, said; “In IMEM, we believe our expertise lies in vehicle importation, and that dealer
specialists represent the best and most effective route to market for our brands. We are very pleased therefore to work with the experienced team in Brightstone to further develop the Citroën & DS presence in North Dublin.”

The dealership will be managed by Dealer Principal & Director, Damien Smyth.
