Gowan Distributors Limited, Peugeot Importers in Ireland have appointed a new dealer in the west of Ireland.

Kevin Egan Cars, Carraroe, Sligo has been added to the Peugeot Dealer Network of Ireland as building works commence on a green-field site that will see the development of a new 850 sq ft showroom to house the Peugeot franchise.

Fronted by business partners Kevin Egan and Mark Walsh, Kevin Egan Cars is now open for business, currently stocking the full line-up of Peugeot passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, with a selection of quality used cars for sale.

Des Cannon, Managing Director at Gowan Distributors said, "I am so pleased with the appointment of Kevin Egan Cars to the Peugeot Network. Their flair for customer service excellence has brought them deserved recognition as one of the best independent retailers in the country, before their appointment to the Peugeot franchise. Kevin and Mark and their team are very highly motivated individuals who bring great energy to the table; indeed their enthusiasm is infectious. I have every confidence we will work very well together, to increase our market share in Sligo."

Kevin Egan, Dealer Principal said, "The Peugeot franchise really piqued our interest over the course of the last 12 months and we believe it's a really good fit for us. The new SUV line up, including the new Peugeot 3008 SUV, just crowned Irish Car of the Year 2018, together with the excellent van range, will undoubtedly bring us new custom. We very much look forward to 2018 with confidence."

Established in 2009, Kevin Egan Cars Sligo quickly made its name as the premier used car dealer for Sligo and surrounding counties, racking up national awards in recognition of outstanding work ethic; proud finalists in the Society of the Irish Motor Industry 2012 awards, the dealership was then crowned Independent Car Dealer of the Year in both 2013 and 2016.

Kevin Egan, born in Sligo, began his life-career in the Motor Industry seventeen years ago, starting his own motor business when he was just 27. Mark Walsh has a wealth of retail experience and was made partner in 2010.
Kevin Egan Cars' new Peugeot state-of-the-art showroom will open in 2019.
