New Technology Training for Motor Factors.

A one day intensive training course, that provides an overview of new technology in cars currently on the road. The course takes place at the Silver Springs Moran Hotel, Cork on Saturday, November 24th 2012, from 9am - 5pm.


Leading industry trainer Steve Carter will provide those attending with a practical knowledge of how developing automotive technology is already impacting on the aftermarket and the more far reaching effects it is likely to have in the near future. 

The seminar covers subject areas such as diesel engine developments, including vital information on DPF filters and Piezo injectors and Petrol Engines, including direct injection, variable valve timing, variable valve lift and secondary air injection. There will also be information on diagnosing and servicing dual mass flywheels and a section on suspension geometry. Steve will also give a brief on general engine technology developments including subjects such as; EGR, dual stage turbo & turbo/supercharger, electric water pumps and intercooler integrated in intake manifolds. The seminar concludes with a look at vehicle safety developments including; electronic stability control (ESC), dual stage airbags and pedestrian protection.
