Blue Print has released details of its latest round of new to range additions to its comprehensive range of aftermarket parts. These include many fast to market products which are some of the first available in the independent aftermarket for particular applications. 

The new additions include two new transmission oil filter sets for Toyota applications which are sure to be very popular in Ireland. These are: 

• ADBP210144 - Transmission Oil Filter Set for automatic transmission (OE No. 35330-71010 S1) To Fit: Toyota Hilux (2015 on), Toyota Land Cruiser (2009 on). 
• ADBP210163 - Transmission Oil Filter Set for automatic transmission (OE No. to 35330-52060 S1) To Fit: Toyota Yaris (2010 on)

Clean transmission oil plays a major role in the operation of this very important powertrain component. The oil allows the gearshift to operate smoothly and efficiently, which is made possible by the use of quality filtration and the sophisticated ‘additive packs’ within the base oil. However, over time the transmission fluid and additives deteriorate, along with the filter (which is gradually contaminated), causing these carefully engineered transmission components to alter. This has a negative impact on the transmission’s performance, including harsh gear engagements, as the controlled clutch slip no longer responds as designed. These problems lead to rapid wear of the friction discs, solenoids and other transmission components and can cause expensive transmission failure, if the transmission oil and filter are not regularly maintained.

Other highlights in the new to range additions include; 21 new braking articles, featuring a brake pad set for the MG ZS (ADBP420154) a brake shoe set (ADBP410101) for EVs such as the Audi Q4; CUPRA Born; VW ID.4, Skoda Enyaq, VW ID.3, VW ID.7 and VW ID. Buzz and Brake Disc (ADBP430153) for Hyundai Ioniq and Kia EV6.  

There are also 8 new steering & suspension articles, including the engine mounting (ADBP800398) for the Dacia Duster (2010 to 2020) and a Protection Kit (ADBP840060) for the Nissan Juke (2010 to 2019) and Nissan Leaf (2010 to 2018).
