A lucky group of NGK Spark Plug customers have enjoyed an action packed day out at one of Europe’s leading rally teams. The group spent the day at Cumbria-based M-Sport where they toured the company’s impressive Dovenby Hall headquarters before being treated to an exhilarating drive on the Greystoke Forest testing ground.

NGK is a sponsor of the Qatar M-Sport World Rally Team which competes in the FIA World Rally Championship. The team’s drivers, Norwegian Mads Østberg and Russian Evgeny Novikov, are currently 3rd and 14th after two rounds of the championship in their Ford Fiesta RS WRC cars.

Gerard Irving, NGK Spark Plugs Marketing Manager, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the Qatar M-Sport World Rally Team competing in this year’s FIA WRC and look forward to following their drivers’ exploits over the forthcoming rounds.” He added,
“The day out at M-Sport proved to be very popular with our guests. It is not very often you get the opportunity to be driven in forest conditions like these and also to look behind the scenes of such a renowned company like M-Sport.”
