Nissan Ireland is conducting a voluntary recall campaign on Qashqai and Qashqai +2.

As part of Nissan International's on-going quality monitoring an issue related to the steering wheel on a limited number of vehicles has been identified in Europe. Given the small number of vehicles estimated to be affected at a European level (c.a. 1%) it is highly unlikely that any Irish vehicles will be affected.

However, in line with Nissan Ireland's commitment to customer satisfaction and safety, Nissan Ireland will be recalling all Irish vehicles which fall within the range of potentially affected vehicles for inspection (1,145 in total).

All concerned customers will receive a letter from their local Nissan dealer over the coming weeks inviting them in to have their vehicle inspected.  Inspections will be at no cost to the customer and should take a maximum of 15 minutes to complete.
