Nissens Automotive launches new Product Support portal
Share:

Premium quality aftermarket component and system supplier, Nissens Automotive has developed a new online portal to complement its highly successful Nissens Training Concept. The Product Support portal at, www.nissens.com/support is free and easy to access.

Technicians can scan a QR code from a Nissens product box to start browsing the technical information they need, watch video installation guides, filter replacement part details by make and model and review warranty conditions. In the process and to improve its environmental footprint, as well as making product information more accessible, Nissens Automotive will phase out all printed literature by the end of 2022.

Users can navigate the site by product category and choose from product groups to find the information they’re searching for. Drop-down menus contain relevant content, such as video tutorials and best practice guides, are presented it in an accessible way that's easy to digest and many of these useful resources can be downloaded or printed for reference. Updates and new content go straight to the platform as it’s released, keeping the information fresh, up-to-date and crucially, relevant for technicians.

“Many aftermarket components require precision and attention to detail to install correctly,” said Nissens Automotive Marketing Manager, Jan Zieleskiewicz. “We aim to set technicians up for success by providing the resources they need to carry out their service and repair work to the highest standard. This is one of the aspects that really differentiates the Nissens brand in such a highly competitive market.”

As the portal develops, Nissens will continue to expand its content and capability, as well as load it with interesting features. As its main aim is to deliver technical insight to professionals, along with extensive technical literature, it will also include a selection of practical tools that technicians can use in their daily work.

Another planned extension is the integration with the company’s well-established NTC educational platform, with its advanced training courses and self-learning modules becoming even easier to access.

The portal currently supports more than 15 languages including English, Chinese, Spanish, German and Russian, but further content translations are still in development, and although there is currently only a web version, a mobile application for major platforms will also be introduced.
