Nissens introduces oil coolers assemblies

Nissens Automotive has extend its range of oil coolers by adding versions that come complete with additional components such as an oil filter and housing, providing a time-saving plug-and-play solution for workshops committed to reliable oil filtration and engine cooling.

The oil cooler assembly range extension adds to Nissens Automotive’s ambitious product development strategy, cementing the company as a technical specialist and a leading player in the independent sector with thermal, efficiency and emissions solutions.

The complete oil cooler assembly is a more complex unit than the standalone oil cooler, but purchasing the complete unit ensures that all the components operate in perfectly synchronisation, thereby prolonging the lifespan of the engine and its associated components.

“We anticipate a significant increase in demand from the market for these oil cooler assemblies,” said Steffen Bjerg Jensen, Head of Product Management at Nissens Automotive. He added, “The complete housing version of the oil cooler unit is increasingly attractive to workshops, as it is easier, faster, and less risky to install, in comparison with ordering and installing the components individually.”

In common with all its products, the new oil cooler assemblies are designed and manufactured for the aftermarket and all components and materials meet Genuine Nissens Quality and are benchmarked against the original equipment parts. Therefore, the development required extensive tests for each of their elements to ensure the ongoing reliability and performance of the complete unit and perfectly matching, or even surpass the performance of the OE components

Martin Ejlertsen, Quality Engineer, Engine Cooling, commented, “Engine downsizing and the introduction of start-stop systems are examples of the new technologies that we had to take into consideration when developing our oil cooler assemblies. It is increasingly important that our oil coolers and the connected components in the housing are comprehensively tested to ensure the proper functioning of the entire unit.”

The new oil cooler assemblies are part of Nissens Automotive’s First Fit programme, which means that they are not only supplied with gaskets included, but with them pre-mounted on the unit to help technicians save time during the installation process.

The extension of the oil cooler assembly aftermarket programme includes 13 new items in addition to an existing range of 23 products covering a total of +220 OE references.
