Porters Bodyshop Ltd has completed the acquisition of long-established Belfast bodyshop, Davey’s Accident Repair Centre.


Colin Porter, director in charge of their new site, said, “We have been looking to expand into Belfast for some time and the takeover of Davey’s ARC from Peter and Tom fits perfectly.”

Davey’s Accident Repair Centre is a very well established bodyshop with a history in the Belfast motor trade dating back to 1944.

Established by Jim Porter in 1970, Porters Bodyshop based in Portadown has grown to be one of Northern Ireland’s most successful accident repair centres with many insurance company and manufacturer approvals. The acquisition will create a strong bodyshop group in the north offering good coverage in the major population areas.
