Northgate Vehicle Hire has chosen the Toyota Auris Van as the newest addition to its fleet of over 60,000 vehicles on rental through more than 60 locations in Ireland and The United Kingdom.
The deal accounts for a total of thirty Auris Vans to be supplied to Northgate through Carroll & Kinsella, Churchtown, Dublin.
Northgate has shaped and defined the van hire market for over 30 years. The company offers a vast range of vans on a fully flexible hire through its central hub in Dublin, along with its recently opened depot in Limerick City and soon to open Cork depot. Northgate's direct service network includes an excellent infrastructure of 56 workshops, 300 technicians and 56 mobile technicians who service a diverse customer base ranging from blue chip corporations and local authorities right down to small and medium sized enterprises and owner operators.
Commenting on the deal, Lee Saunders of Northgate Vehicle Hire said, "The decision to go with the Auris Van was actually a relatively easy one to make. Toyota has an excellent reputation for quality, great value and incredibly fuel efficient vehicles - key attributes we look for when selecting new vehicles for our fleet. The Auris Van also perfectly matches our customer needs in the light commercial vehicle range and will definitely enhance our large fleet offering."
Commenting on the announcement, Cathal Ryan, Fleet Manager for Toyota said: "We are very proud to have been chosen to supply Auris Vans to Northgate -- a company with a significant history in the commercial vehicle rental market, and one that certainly knows what its customer base is looking for. We believe that our reputation in quality, dependability and performance continues to stand to Toyota in what are increasingly difficult market conditions and the success in winning this contract is clearly representative of the confidence the Toyota brand continues to inspire."
