NTN ‐ SNR has been awarded the “Innovative Supplier of the Year, 2015” Grand Prize by Nexus Automotive International. The prestigious award in particular recognised the innovation and design of the NTN ‐ SNR Smartphone TechScaN'R application.

Nexus Automotive International, one of the largest international networks of aftermarket distributors made the award at the Nexus Business Forum 2016 in Montreux, France.

This award was presented to Eric Malavasi, Vice President NTN ‐ SNR, in charge of Automobile Aftermarket, Christophe Idelon, Director of Sales and Christophe Espine, Director of Marketing and Communication, in front of 300 guests, members, suppliers and members of the Nexus team.

The decision by the board of Nexus International as a whole, recognises the great benefits that the innovative app can offer. The smartphone TechScaN'R application allows very easy access to all the technical information from NTN ‐ SNR, simply by scanning the reference on the label of the box, on a catalogue or any other medium.

The app also offers another key feature, the ability to see some references in augmented reality. This technology allows the users to see the part from all angles and "play" with the image of the "floating" piece above its box or the catalogue. This can greatly reduce part identification errors and help with correct fitment.

Developed in partnership with the company Visuelys, the app is part of the comprehensive NTN ‐ SNR service offering, and is available for download on the AppStore and Google Play.
