The NTN-SNR crankshaft pulley range has continued its steady expansion launching 33 crankshaft pulley kits complete with bolts and washers.
During the process of fitting a new crankshaft pulley, or re-fitment of the original pulley, the fixing bolts often get over torqued, which causes the bolts to stretch and deform outside of the manufacturers specifications. This can lead to an increased risk of the fixing bolts failing either by snapping or failing to hold the pulley to the crankshaft at the correct torque setting.
NTN-SNR strongly recommends that bolts are replaced with the crankshaft pulley. If the mechanic uses the same bolts he increases the risk of failure.
The launching of the NTN-SNR kit range offers certain advantages for the mechanic, meaning the replacement is in compliance with OE requirements and the mechanics save time because all the necessary bolts and washers are provided in one kit.
In line with its quality product policy NTN SNR only offers bolts and washers in OE quality.
Specific packaging has been created with a defined area for bolts and washers to protect them during the transport. Two sizes of box will be launched to optimize the space for storage.
With a range of 183 pulleys including kits which cover the majority of European and Asian cars, NTN-SNR says it is meeting the needs of professionals with quality products and solving many problematic fitting issues.
