OESAA welcomes BILSTEIN to membership

The Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association (OESAA) has announced BILSTEIN as the group’s newest affiliate, becoming the latest brand to align itself with the organisation’s passion for protecting the interests and strengthening the acumen of automotive aftermarket professionals.

A damper and suspension manufacturer, BILSTEIN is at the forefront of chassis technology and is trusted by vehicle manufacturers, including Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, BMW, Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin. BILSTEIN’s aftermarket division is equally impressive, making all of its aftermarket components, for every marque, to the same standards.

On joining OESAA, Aaron Quilter, sales manager for BILSTEIN UK, said, “OESAA and its members educate independent workshops and specialists about the benefits of fitting OE parts, and we’re excited to join them on this quest. The organisation, clearly enjoying a purple patch in terms of enthusing more members to come on-board, is one we’re proud to be part of.”

Autoinform Live recently took place in Dublin, where experts from within the OESAA network shared their passion and knowledge with eager delegates, all of whom were keen to learn about new technologies, best practice and diagnosis techniques, as well as receive advice on what trends to seize advantage of and how to create a short and long-term business plan.

On the subject of education, Aaron added, “Our training academies across the world continually strive to raise the bar in terms of knowledge and skills with our retailer network. Combine this with a product that exudes quality and reliability, and one can see why we’re looking forward to achieving more with the OESAA.”

OESAA Chairman, Nigel Morgan, has welcomed BILSTEIN and Waeco, which was also recently announced as a new member. Nigel believes the organisation is in a strong moment to inspire the industry. He said, “Word is obviously spreading about the impact of OESAA, such has been the level of interest in the recent Autoinform Live Dublin event and the desire of more OEMs to join our mission in reassuring automotive professionals that the future is buoyant and we’re here to support them on that journey.”
