The Coronavirus crisis may have seen automotive training centres across the globe close their doors, but bodyshop equipment specialist Car-O-Liner has kept its distributors up-to-date by providing online training through its Academy.

Car-O-Liner has joined the digital movement by providing on-line training sessions for its European and Asia Pacific team of distributors. In April and May the sessions were held 4 times a week, providing 12 opportunities for distributors to explore in more detail the systems and solutions used to assist them in selling Car-O-Liner products.

Topics covered included: the ins and outs of VisionWeb and the Car-O-Liner Distributor website, Car-O-Data vehicle subscriptions, ECInfo2, B&M Details and Bluetooth-software installation upgrades.

Almost 400 people connected to the Zoom-based on-line sessions which were hosted by Mikael Nilsson, Business Development Manager, Jørn Lindberg, Distributor Manager and Henrik Ottosson, Product Manager Measuring.

Anna Nilsson, Manager of Academy Development and Projects said, “The on-line sessions were a great success. Surveys taken afterwards showed that they were useful, well organized and of interest to the participants. The surveys also showed that the presenter’s expert knowledge was highly appreciated. We are now expanding these sessions to include training for other Snap-on brands.”

Transcripts of the courses can be found on the Car-O-Liner Distributor Site.
