The First Line Group (FLG) has expanded it gear linkage range with some important additions for Opel applications.
First Line introduced its original Corsa C gear linkage in 2013, a first for the independent sector, providing access to the type of niche product which had previously been considered as being available only from the franchised dealer. The company is now building on this success with the addition of two more Opel linkages, FKC3001 for the Corsa D and Adam and FKC3002 for the ASTRA G/H and Zafira. These new references, along with the original FKC3000, which also fits the Meriva A, are manufactured using premium quality materials, are zinc coated and incorporate upgraded plastics.
The original components are fitted to tens of thousands of vehicles throughout Europe and are renowned for their frequent and premature failure, generally because the plastic shift rod becomes loose as it wears and then pops out of the ball joints or due to wear to the nylon bushes in the link joints, which causes them to fail. These problems mean there is a healthy market for these components.
Each linkage comes as a complete replacement assembly, which is ready to fit and means that there is no need to go to the trouble of ordering the individual parts or through the complicated procedure of fitting each part within the linkage itself.
