Parts specialist OPTIMAL was celebrating its 25th Anniversary at Automechanika and took the opportunity to showcase it expanding range of products and services. The impressive stand was a hive of activity throughout the event with visitors keen to share in the company celebrations.

Distributed in Ireland by Somora Motor Parts, the German OPTIMAL brand has been a major success story in the Irish aftermarket in recent years, especially in sectors such as shock absorbers, steering and suspension, wheel bearings, ABS sensors and water pumps. The range provides a popular combination of excellent quality, first class market coverage on both European and Asian models and excellent value.

Starting from humble origins 25 years ago with just two staff, the company is now a global operation selling in more than 100 counties. It is also expanding it product portfolio and at Automechanika was highlighting new innovations such as its complete brake shoe kits and a new range of components aimed at the increasingly important hybrid and electric vehicle sector. The company also used the show to launch a complete new range of catalogues in both printed and digital formats.
