OPTIMAL is reporting great interest in its new parts catalogue for electric and hybrid vehicles that was launched at Automechanika in September.

OPTIMAL says that the global market for electric cars has been experiencing rapid growth this year. In China alone, sales of electric cars during the first eight months of this year grew by 123 percent in comparison with last year. In the US, 30% more new electric vehicles have been registered and in Norway, the country with the highest proportion of electric vehicles, electric cars now account for 28% of the market.

OPTIMAL AG & Co. KG is well placed to provide a reliable supply of wear parts for this type of vehicle. The new wear parts catalogue brings this offering together in one convenient publication. It includes more than 1,200 references covering 30 brands and 128 vehicle models, including well known electric cars such as the BMW i3, Renault Twizy and Tesla Model S as well as typical hybrid vehicles like the Toyota Prius, Audi A8 2.0 TFSI Hybrid or Mercedes S 400 Hybrid.  To make it easier for customers to quickly choose the wear parts they need, all the references are also available in TecDoc and on the associated electronic media.
