Spies Hecker has launched a limited special edition Race Spray Gun designed in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport style. The company has been a paint supplier to the five-time FIA Formula One World Constructors’ Champions for more than five years.

Joachim Hinz, Spies Hecker Brand Manager for Europe commented, "The extraordinary design of this limited-edition paint spray gun represents our longstanding partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport while also highlighting our enthusiasm for motorsport."

The design of the Race Spray Gun is based on the championship-winning Mercedes-AMG F1 W09 EQ Power+, with its dynamic lines in the typical PETRONAS green. On the sides of the limited-edition gun the racing numbers of both Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport drivers can be found: 44 for five-time FIA Formula OneTM World Drivers’ Champion Lewis Hamilton on one side, and 77 for race-winning driver Valtteri Bottas on the other.

Spies Hecker says the SATAjet 5000 B RP Race Spray Gun is also technically excellent which is one of the reasons why it is used to paint the race cars at the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport headquarters in Brackley, England.

The Race Spray Gun has been produced in a limited run of only 500 pieces. It comes with a carrying case that contains not only an acrylic stand with the gun’s serial number but also a key ring. This is an official licensed product of Mercedes-AMG Petronas Motorsport. While sold out in the rest of Europe, a small number of these unique spray guns are currently available to purchase from the Spies Hecker webshop – www.spiesheckerwebshop.co.uk – and more information can be found at www.spieshecker.co.uk/race-gun.
