Parents receive costly lesson

A family from Hertfordshire in the UK have been left considerably out of pocket, after the parents took the bold move to make an example of their son, when he took their car without consent.

Aiden Schnadhorst not only took the car, but managed to crash it and was in for another nasty shock when his parents decided he should go to court for taking the vehicle without consent. But a magistrate’s fine was far from the end of the matter, as the family’s insurers Sheilas’ Wheels refused to pay for the repairs to the vehicle, leaving the Schnadhorst with a bill of some €11,000.
