PatFluid has universal aftermarket appeal
Share:

Since being featured in the Autobiz Mechman series JLM has reported a huge surge in interest in its PatFluid the universal diesel catalyst fluid for on board DPF dosing units. Motor factors across Ireland have seen sales growing as awareness of this economical aftermarket alternative increases.

Diesel particulate filters rely on a system of regeneration in order to optimise performance. This involves burning off trapped soot particles a process aided by  diesel catalyst fluid through an on-board dosing system. On cars from manufacturers such as Peugeot/Citroën, Ford, Volkswagen/Audi, Volvo, and Mazda this special catalyst fluid is in a tank or bag which at some point will need to be refilled.

Car makers will recommend individual fluids for replacement, but JLM PatFluid can now provide a more convenient and economical universal solution for independent garages. PatFluid is suitable for all passenger cars and vans from 2001 onwards that are equipped with an on-board dosing units and a tank or bag containing diesel catalyst fluid. As such it can be used as a direct high quality replacement for PSA Particulate Fluid 973665, 997995, 973685,973686, C973685, C973686; Eolys DPX 42, DPX 176; Ford Particulate Fluid 1337646) and many more car manufacturer products.

JLM PatFluid is available from stockist nationwide and comes pack sizes of 1L and 4.5L. Used together with the JLM PatFluid Refill Kit, both cars equipped with an additive tank and ones with a reservoir bag can be refilled easily, in the later instance without the need to replace the reservoir bag.

A product data sheet and refilling instructions can be found on the JLM website at www.jlmlubricants.com
