Automotive lighting specialist Philips has uploaded a number of useful step-by-step lighting fitment videos for technicians on its own YouTube channel.
The company says that cars vary hugely in complexity, so while for some models it is relatively simple to open the bonnet and get to the back of the headlight to make a simple replacement, on others it is more complex and can even mean the removal of the whole front bumper, grille and wheel arch inners to get to the lights.
The Philips Automotive Lighting Europe YouTube Channel offers a range of both technical instruction videos and short product information films to make it easier for workshop technicians to change the bulbs on the most popular cars on the road.
The videos also cover the comprehensive range of Philips bulbs which includes a full selection of replacement Halogen Bulbs and HID Xenon replacements as well as upgrade bulbs and LED lighting options.
Heading the Philips offer is RacingVision, the first halogen bulb to be rated at +150% compared to the industry standard. Philips says this has already proved itself to be the best performing halogen headlamp bulb on the market and was recently awarded the accolade of Headlamp Bulb of the Year in the prestigious Auto Express Product Honours for 2017.
