Eddie Murphy, Chairman and Managing Director of Ford Ireland and Sinead O’Keeffe, Commercial Manger, Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind (IGDB), were delighted to present Barry Moher with the keys of his brand new Ford Focus, which he won in the charity’s annual car raffle proudly sponsored by Ford Ireland.
Barry bought his ticket on Henry Street, Dublin and it was drawn from over 25,000 tickets in the end of year draw at IGDB headquarters in Cork.
Ford; Ireland’s leading motor company have been partnering with Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind for 3 years and have once again kindly sponsored a brand new Ford Focus for their 2013 raffle. The funds raised go towards providing life changing services for people who are blind or vision impaired and families of children with autism.
Ford have also generously donated a Tourneo Minibus and a Grand CMax to Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind for 2013. These vehicles will be used by staff to provide nationwide aftercare and support to over 600 clients nationwide.
Sinead O’Keeffe Commercial Manager IGDB said “The 2012 car raffle was a great success. We couldn’t do the work we do without the support from Ford Ireland, the general public who purchased tickets and the many volunteers who sold tickets throughout the country. Ford have helped us raise in excess of €225,000 for our vital services and we are delighted that they continue to support us”.
