Positive note struck at Autopromotec 2013

The Autopromotec aftermarket trade exhibition took place at the Bologna Fiere in Italy last week attracting a wide global visitor base including many from Ireland.

The event, which is now seen by many as the second most important aftermarket exhibition in the bi-annual calendar, had a record number of exhibitors spread across thirteen halls in the huge show grounds. Attendance figures across the five days were good and many exhibitors reported that the quality and buying capacity of those attending was first class.

Many representatives from Irish companies attended the event both to meet existing suppliers and assess the many new innovations on display. The garage and tyre trade equipment sector was one area of the Irish aftermarket particularly well represented.

Although at times the weather was certainly not typical of an Italian summer, putting a dampener on some of the outside exhibitors, the general consensus was that Autopromotec 2013 was a big success.

You can see pictures and read more about the exhibition in the June issue of Autobiz Magazine.
